Join us at City Hall on Monday, March 5, at 10 am to raise the International Women’s Day flag!
Joy Wakefield will speak about the progress women have made over the last few decades, as well as the ongoing struggles, particularly for women who belong to other marginalized groups. Through sharing her story and the stories of other women, Joy works to inspire us to foster change and resilience within our communities.
Also featuring the City Proclamation of International Women’s Day (Mayor Keith Hobbs)
and delicious refreshments from Milk and Water Baking Company.
